“Celebrate Spring by meeting Melissa Legg-Bracken creator of adorable plush critters. Enjoy watching her turn old sweaters into genteel goats, goofy groundhogs, tenacious teddy bears, funny flying pigs, and oh so many cuddly creatures.”

Making more Grounghogs today! I have been busy collecting sweaters and have found the right ones. I try my best not to buy sweaters. I have been getting a lot of sweaters donated, I think people really like the idea of donating materials in the name of art. I want my critters to be upcycled from clothing that could not otherwise not be worn. I look for holes, misshapen, and shrunk sweaters. For materials I can not upcycle from clothing I try my best to use recycled goods like Eco fi felt that was made from recycled plastic bottles. My goal is create goods that are made from sustainable materials and possible helping less items from ending up in the landfill.
Finished Tiny Groundhog My assistant is very into Hippos right now.
